To ensure the indices can reflect the market price accurately, WOO X has used the market prices from at least three major exchanges as the weighted index components for each token.
- Market Price: The real-time market price on WOO X.
- market_price = median（bid1, ask1, last_price）
- Mark Price: To calculate the PnL and liquidation.
- Mark Price= Median of (P1, P2, P3),
- P1 = Index_price * (1+Last Funding Rate * (Time Until Funding /60))
- P2 = Index_price + Moving average (30minute_basis)
- P3 = median (bid1, ask1, last_price)
- MA(30minute_basis) = MA ((median(bid1, ask1) - Index_price), every minute
- Note: bid1, ask1, the last price means futures prices
- Index Price: Average market price from major exchanges (This data is fetched once per second)

- 24 Volume: 24 hrs total futures trading volume on WOO Network.
- Funding Rate: The funding rate used for the hourly payments between traders who have long or short positions in futures.
- Open Interest: Total positions from both the long and short sides on WOO Network.
▶ Index price mechanisms and rules
- The latest price and volume of each constituent in the index are retrieved from selected exchanges in real-time. However, if the relevant exchange is under maintenance or any constituent price/volume has no update for a certain period, the constituent data will be temporarily excluded from index calculation.
- The final calculation depends on the number of exchanges with valid data. Details are as follows:
- Valid data ≥ 3 exchanges: apply equally-weighted price average (however, if any exchange price deviates more than 3% from the median price of all exchanges, the exchange's price will be floored at median price * 0.97 and capped at median price * 1.03);
- Valid data = 2 exchanges: apply equally-weighted price average
- Valid data = 1 exchange: its last traded price will be directly used as the index price.
- Valid data = 0: apply the latest index price for reference. WOO X will suspend the trading pair if the situation keeps within a particular time and can place no order.
